My Week With Marilyn

All I can say is that Michelle Williams definetely inhabited the spirit of Marilyn Monroe in this role.  She was beyond fabulous, brilliantly displaying her beyond the icon we all know to convey her inner conflicts and insecurities.  In fact, everyone including Judy Dench, Kenneth Brannagh, and Julia Ormond, were so superb and fitting in their roles.  It manages to believably capture the look and feel London meeting Hollywood in the 1950's and take the audience on an interesting once in a lifetime journey through the eyes of an innocent young Colin Clark, played convincingly by Eddie Redmayne . Yet, the film is also perfectly relevant to our own present time, in that it perfectly showcases the ideas and expenses of what it means to be a star celebrity and how it often clashes and merges with the idea of trained acting talent.
